Ultimate Bass Radio, Triton Boats, Mercury Marine and Gone Fishin’ Marine have joined to bring Northern California anglers the opportunity to learn from the West’s top professional bass anglers.
Starting Tuesday, May 19, 2009, “Ultimate Bass University” will be held every month at the Gone Fishin’ Marine showroom.
Classes will be hosted by KENT BROWN, of Ultimate Bass Radio, heard on Sacramento’s KHTK 1140 AM, Saturdays, from 5:00 to 6:00 AM. Top professional bass anglers will present in-depth 2-hour University-style classes for both novices and professionals. Brown, a member of the Triton Boats and Mercury Marine National Pro Staff, will also be a presenter at many of the classes. The latest techniques and baits, as well as electronics, GPS and boat rigging, along with the latest fish catching tips will be covered.
“I’m very excited to bring the “Ultimate Bass University” to Gone Fishin’ Marine and because they’ve joined the Triton Boats team, it’s fitting to do classes surrounded by the best bass boats on the water”, stated Brown. “And at the end of class, anglers can purchase the products they need from the Gone Fishin’ Marine’s Tackle Department”, he added.
Top bass pros scheduled include Gary Dobyns, Greg Guiterrez, Bub Tosh, along with top national and regional pros. Also, classes provide a chance to meet and talk fishing with members of the successful Gone Fishin’ Marine Fishing Team. Class dates: May 19, June 16, July 21, August 18, September 22, October 20, November 17, and December 15, 2009.
